Description
Blue Moon is known for its Belgian-Style Wheat Ale which was created in 1995 by Keith Villa, a brewer at the Sandlot Brewery at Coors Field, Denver. It was originally brewed in the Coors brewery in Golden, Colorado. In the summer of 2016 a new state-of-the-art brewery was opened in Denver’s RiNo District. Since then we have been brewing fan favorites (old and new), and experimenting with new and unique ingredients on our pilot brewing system.

Hazy pale blond colour with thin head. Aroma and flavour have some typical hazy IPA tropical fruit notes. Some slightly skunky hops in the aftertaste too.

Shared a bottle at JR's. Smell of perfume & flowery hops. Pale with a slight haze. Quite bitter, fer sher this is IPA. Almost astringent, not well done. Difficult sharp & bitter, nasty nellie rude attitude. Same with the finish.

Been a while since I sampled a Molson Coors masterpiece. This migh actually be my first beer from the Chilliwack brewery, which opened years ago. Cloudy and dull, like oxidized mango. Not much head. Flabby, non-good wit base with artificial mango overtop. Usually mango is brighter in a beer. On the palate, it's sweet, with the mango being a touch brighter. Still a flabby, yeasty base but at least the fruit masks that a bit.
