Description
Blue Moon is known for its Belgian-Style Wheat Ale which was created in 1995 by Keith Villa, a brewer at the Sandlot Brewery at Coors Field, Denver. It was originally brewed in the Coors brewery in Golden, Colorado. In the summer of 2016 a new state-of-the-art brewery was opened in Denver’s RiNo District. Since then we have been brewing fan favorites (old and new), and experimenting with new and unique ingredients on our pilot brewing system.

Can from the local Raleys grocery. pours translucent gold with a a moderate white head that persisted. Aroma is orange with a hint of zest. Medium body. Flavor is the aroma with some hints of fusel oil. Not too bad, but the fuse oil is a shame.

19.2oz can, drank at my daughters in Laguna Hills on 12th April 2026. I thought this an upgrade on the regular Blue Moon, more of an orange flavour and obvious aggressive alcohol kick. Looked the same though.

Bought locally, best by May 4th 2026.
Pours a cloudy light orange, very nice head of long lasting foam. Lacing is also impressive.
Smell is orange peel, coriander, wheat, light tartness.
Taste is light orange peel, coriander, wheat, booze that detracts from the flavours.
Medium bodied, I would not drink this again.

Pours hazy pale yellow with a small white head. Smells of citrus and a little spice. The flavor is very sweet with a little hops in the finish. There’s some citrus and spice but mostly it’s sweet malt and wheat covering the booze. Meh.

0.33l bottle. Hazy orange body with a white head. Aroma and taste of coriander, doughy yeast, orange zest and pears. Spicy, fruity beer with a lasting aftertaste. Nice wit.
