Description
Blue Moon is known for its Belgian-Style Wheat Ale which was created in 1995 by Keith Villa, a brewer at the Sandlot Brewery at Coors Field, Denver. It was originally brewed in the Coors brewery in Golden, Colorado. In the summer of 2016 a new state-of-the-art brewery was opened in Denver’s RiNo District. Since then we have been brewing fan favorites (old and new), and experimenting with new and unique ingredients on our pilot brewing system.

its just watery blue moon, which was already a watered down belgian wit to begin with. So now its basically a watered down wit, they dumped a tiny amount of tangerine extracts into. yay!

Can from the lcbo as Belgian moon. Hazy orange pour, with a large white head. Aroma is sticky, sweet malted wheat, and sweet artificial mango. Mouth feel is full, and sticky, with a very soft carb. Finish is sickly sweet, fake mango, loads of musty wheat. Not good, drain pour.

On tap at the loive garden in burlington vermont.
Hazy gold, small white head. Aroma of sweet, papery malted wheat, weak citrus, and light honey. Cloyingly sweet, light bitterness, i couldn’t finish my pint.

Bottle in England. Aroma is light malt, wheaty, some yeast, bready, light sweetish fruits, citrus, hint of yeast. Flavour is light to moderate sweet. Body is about medium. Not a bad Witbier at all.

Bottle from a supermarket in Oregon. Aroma is very spicy with an overdose of cinnamon, soft wheaty malt, rice and a hint of citrus and vanilla. Flavour is moderate to medium sweet and mildly bitter. Body is medium. Way too heavy on the cinnamon for my taste.

Clear gold in color with a three-finger head. Aroma is grains, biscuit and hard baseball card bubblegum smell (honey?). Taste is kinda the same. Just average.
