Description
Blue Moon is known for its Belgian-Style Wheat Ale which was created in 1995 by Keith Villa, a brewer at the Sandlot Brewery at Coors Field, Denver. It was originally brewed in the Coors brewery in Golden, Colorado. In the summer of 2016 a new state-of-the-art brewery was opened in Denver’s RiNo District. Since then we have been brewing fan favorites (old and new), and experimenting with new and unique ingredients on our pilot brewing system.

Can @ home. Hazy golden orange with a frothy white head. Aromas of coriander and orange. Taste is the same, like regular Blue Moon except more boozy and a bit harsh.

Very hazy, gold with a slight orange tone and a three finger head. Aroma is very similar to the original Blue Moon with hints of orange and coriander. Taste is also like the original Blue Moon with the orange and coriander.

Bottle. I like this beer. It had a definite honey taste but it was not sweet at all. Smelled slightly of honey and even looked like honey when poured into a glass. I recommend this beer.

Bottle. This sounded so promising. Not very good though. Flavor needed more caramel apple taste just not the sweetness. It was actually too bland. Some nutmeg spice aroma. Light brownish color. Disappointed.

Bottle. Just to be fair I am not a big fan of this style but this wasn’t very good. Aroma was just very slightly citrus with whiffs of fruitcake and hay. Flavor was like a hoppy pilsner. Color was amber with a decent head.

Bottle. Not really my style. Reddish in color, really nice head. Taste is a nice hop malt balance with a slight lean to the hops. One can really taste the coriander and hibiscus. Aroma is weak with hints of hops, coriander and hibiscus.
