Description
Blue Moon is known for its Belgian-Style Wheat Ale which was created in 1995 by Keith Villa, a brewer at the Sandlot Brewery at Coors Field, Denver. It was originally brewed in the Coors brewery in Golden, Colorado. In the summer of 2016 a new state-of-the-art brewery was opened in Denver’s RiNo District. Since then we have been brewing fan favorites (old and new), and experimenting with new and unique ingredients on our pilot brewing system.

Bottle. This was horrible. A gift from a friend and I thought it might be a good one for Christmas day, but not so. Cranberry juice color, smal head and hardly any bubbles. Aroma is a weak fruity smell. Taste is like beer mixed with red wine. Not so good.

Bottle. Clear, deep amber with a hint of purple. Aroma only had hints of blackberry. Taste had even less blackberry. Not really very tart and not really all that sweet. Just kind of average.

Bottle. Appearance was clear, golden with a medium head. Aroma was cinnamon with a well balanced average beer smell. The taste was much better then I thought it would be. Pleasant cinnamon taste with a touch of sweetness but not too sweet.

Bottle. I have to really congratulate Coors for hitting it out of the park with this one. A really tasty IPA that’s not "knock your face off" in high gravity and not "knock your socks off" in bitterness. Golden in color with a nice head and good lace. Aroma is citrus and floral. Taste is citrus and honeysuckle up front with just the right amount of hoppy bitterness in the finish.

Bottle. Slightly cloudy deep gold. Medium sized head. Aroma was gingerbread but it was not a pleasant smell. Maybe like old stall gingerbread. Taste was not much better. It had that spicy taste but it had a lot of off taste that was not very good.

Bottle. Deep golden color with a nice head. Aroma and taste were nothing special. Don’t really taste anything Belgian about it. Taste like an average to maybe a little above average German-American Pilsner.
