Taste comprises chocolate cake, greater coffee presence, light spice, mellow roasted malts, brown sugars, hint of tiramisu. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent flavoursome porter.

Can, very nice pour. Brownish clear looking brew. Nice friendly malty nose. Initial taste is malty as well but its backed up with a slight astringent backdrop. Not too bad but, that slight bitter bite kind of keeps sticking its little head up. If you can get over that, its kind good. Of course this is not really red, but it is a red ale. You know that these 'red' beers are not really red, well at least very few really are. Its a stretch to even call this maroon. Anyway, its not too bad.

12 oz. can purchased at Total Wine & More - Melbourne, FL. Pours a crystal clear bronze color with a large beige head and very good retention. Small spots of lacing. Caramel malt aroma. Starts off with good caramel malt flavor but finishes with a harsh alcohol bite. Low carbonation. Almost good. Tastes better as your mouth numbs from the 6.2% ABV.
