(bottle) Hazy, orange-golden colour with a huge slightly off-white foamy head. Sweet wheat-malty and banana-fruity aroma with a tinge of sourness and clovy spice. Slightly bitter and sourish flavour with a late arriving malty sweetness; present wheat-character, yeasty and banana-fruity taste; quite lasting sourish-fruity and sweet grainy malty finish with hints of clovy spice. Well-rounded and likeable Weizen (27.07.09).

The bottle looks simple and a bit boring. The beer in the glass is okay. Starts mild, fine yeasty, fruity with notes of peach and apricot. Soft and round finish. Not bad!

(bottle) Clear, chestnut-brown colour with a big and beige foamy head. Sweet and slightly toasted malty aroma with a slightly doughy and nutty touch, accompanied by a whiff of caramel and hops. Light-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Mildly toasted malt character, slightly bready and crusty taste with a touch of herbal hops; dry-ish, moderately bitter and toasty finish with a tinge of metal. Nice but not more (20.06.09).

(bottle) Hazy, pale golden colour with a big and persistent foamy white head. Yeasty spicy and sweet grainy aroma with light notes of herbal hops and a very subtle touch of citrus. Sweet and slightly bitter flavour, light bodied with a lively carbonated but not to harsh mouthfeel. Soft grainy and yeasty taste with a light to moderate hoppy note; finishes rather dry and short with a yeasty and hoppy bitterness. Pretty average and easy-going (20.06.09).

Bottle. 3 years past BB date. Bread and rough hop aroma. Clear golden colour. Very small white head. The flavour has a rough grassy bitterness like so many other alcohol free beers.
