Bottle - very subtle aroma of sweet malt. Clear reddish brown color. Sweet molasses flavor with a chalky finish. Not overly strong for a bock. Not too bad.

(in can) NIce aroma - hops come out very nicely. Moderate white head. Great hops flavor with just a hint of sweetness that expertly balances the minimal bitterness. This is a very good beer - by far the best "Export" beer I've had.

A yellow beer with a fine head. The aroma is sweet malty - very simple. The flavor is nicely sweet with notes of malt and straw. The carbonization plays on the tongue. A very average pils.

Re-rate from tap. Not much aroma. Pale green, nice head, low carb. To the malty side, but also som grassy hops. A bit watery. Ok but not spectacular.

Overly carbonated; lightish body, herbal hop notes. Maybe there is something in the air in Hamburg, but this didn't seem to have the kind of hops you'd expect in a north German pilsner (and neither did the Jever I had there).
