Pour is a dark brown with a large tan head. Aroma is of caramel malts and a coffee but everything is very slight. Flavor is creamy with some dark fruit and a roasted after taste. Nothing complex here and pretty standard.

Stupendously huge head, white, over faintly hazy ochre-golden beer. Expressly malty nose, bit toasted malts, and a marked absence of wheat in the aromas. Straw, hay, honey. Very dull grainy taste. Again, apart from a faint sourish lining that could as well linked to the saturation, this lacks virtually all references to wheat, as well as the usual fruity/estery notes. Light, with a very slight slickness. Compared to most NABLAB’s, this is not really bad. But I cannot find any trace of "Weizen".

Pour is a hazy gold with a small white head. Aroma is nothing. When you have a hefe and can smell nothing off the pour it going down hill fast. Flavor is again nothing. This is pure crap. So much better out there this is a big time pass.

The bottle looks not so good, the beer in the glass neither. Not much foam. The beer starts very mild, not very fruity, the finish a little bit sourish. Not a good hefeweizen!

(33 cl bottle purchased at a shop in Helsingör, Denmark)BB 08-2008On March 15, 2008Shady yellow color, small white head, very small for a weissbier. Malty, cheeze, milk, stable scent. Malty sweet taste. Spritzy mouthfeel, low bitterness. Should this really be called a weissbier?
