A decent, frothy, Mocha colored head forms over this murky brown beer when it is poured. The aroma is malty caramel with some chocolate. Sweet malt flavor with a bit of alcohol. Nice spicy wheat bite in the finish.

A very solid German weizen just a notch below the best in the style. +++Sampled from a 16.9 oz bottle this beer poured a cloudy orange-golden color with a large creamy white head. There was a moderately strong citrus aroma with a hint of sweet wheat. The flavor was predominantly sweet wheat with a subdued citrus undercurrent. The mouthfeel was thick and creamy for a wheat beer.

Subtler aroma than most Hefes. Good head. Flavor of banana and cloves than again is more subtle than most Hefes. A very good Weizen but lighter than most. A good choice for those who don’t like a strong Weizen

A yellow beer with a fine head. The aroma is sweet hoppy with notes of grain. The flavor is sweet malty with a slightly sour hop note to hide the lack of alcohol. It ends on a light wheaty dryness. Fine for an alcoholfree beer.

Kristalweizens don't do much for me. Everything that is different or good about a weizen is filtered out. Comparable to other Kristalweizens however - average.

Bottle. Hazy, orange body. Large white, creamy head, good lacing and mostly lasting. This is a beauty. Hoppy (citrus ) aroma. Lightly bitter initial flavour. Lightly bitter, lightly sweet finish. Soft mouthfeel. It looks nice but the flavour is just weak and not very interesting. Perhaps this is what big breweries are looking for: nice looksm but the hell with the flavour. I prefer it the other way around.

Fully opaque dark-brown; fixed cream-coloured dense head. Nose with fresh bread, grassy, like freshly mown lawn. Molasses; bready taste, touch of wheat, dark sugar, even some Maillard. Woody palate. Apart from the alcohol, quite a bit of sugar(s) to! My lips are sticking together. great, filling German beer. But in its style, I still prefer the Aventinus.

Big white head, cloudy dark yellow beer. Nice mouthfeel, bland taste. Slightly sweet flavour with little wheat character.
