The best thing about the beer is it's appearance a clear golden color and a good head. But almost doen't have any aroma. And the taste is only slightly of hob bitterness and wheat - but mostly a very tame flavor impression.

Bottled:
A cloudy pale, brownish yellow beer with a nice head. Aroma and taste of some yeast and green bananas with some grass. A typical weissbier.

This was my first ever German wheat! And I fell in love with the style at first sip. I later found out that there are much better examples of the style, but there's nothing like your first love!

Raisiny madeira dominates aroma slight honey and citric notes as well. Cloudy chestnut, brown foamy head, cerfull with the pouring or you will get yeast floaties. Caramel malty flavors, spice some roast and hops as well - flavor is not living up to the aroma though. Butterscotch aftertaste, relatively lightbodied - sticky mouthfeel.

Rerate, 330 ml fresh bottle, courtesy of Cardinal pub, Stavanger: Hazy golden colour, fizzy head. The aroma is far less appealing than other hefe-weissbiers, but is not really unpleasant. The flavour is much better than the first time I had it, typical hefeweizen characteristics, but more subdued than normal for the style. Still a refreshing beer.
Original rating (total score 1.5): The bottle I had was outdated 2 weeks ago, and was not stored cool at my retailer’s like it ought to be. Cloudy brew with a far-from-appetizing lumpy sediment. Unpleasant aroma. A major disappointment.

Beautiful nut brown and hazy. Toffee aroma, rather malty, rather sweet, but it lacks character. A pale shadow to other weizenbock, missing all the complexity, and all the flavours that make the style interesting.

Dark yellow, hazy. Fruity aroma, but where is the esters? Medium bodied, rather thirst quenching, but one-dimensional and with an industrial feeling to it. Having tried perhaps 50 or so German brands of hefeweizen, I must say this is the least delicious of the bunch.
