Very good for style. Smells of smoked malt. Pours dark brown with medium lacing. Very heavy on nose, just wish it followed through a little more. Taste is bitter with smoky crispness. Palate dies out pretty quickly, thats the beers biggest shortcoming. On tap at coles.

Smells hoppy. Pours clody blond with some head and good lacing. Some citrus but im stretching to detect it. A little malty, high carbonation. Taste is a little bitter. Fairly average. On tap at coles.

Draught, Cole’s. Dark brown. Thin head. Looks great. Big aroma, lots of nuttiness, some toffee and rich dark sugars. Hints of toastiness lends good bitterness to this. Really nice brown ale.

Draught @ Cole’s. Hazy, blonde. Toasty aroma with lots of citrusy hop. Loose head. Clean, with lots of refreshing hop, but fades away on the bitterness. Clean malts.
