and start writing the story of a microbrewery. In the year 2018, five men from the brewing world decided to combine their love of beer and years of experience and thus created an international brand - Axiom Brewery. Three owners from Russia, two from the Czech Republic. And now guess where did they build the brewery. Of course, at Haná in Prostějov (CZ).
And who is the sixth? He is a rebel. He is a superstar among brewers. He is a legend of craft beer. And he probably got bored in his vineyards in Greece because he joined us. Ladies and gentlemen, Norwegian brewmaster Kjetil Jikiun, founder of the first craft mini-brewery Nøgne Ø in Norway, which had grown so much that he left it and founded another mini-brewery called Solo in Crete, and now he brews beer in Prostějov.
We brewed our first batch at Axiom Brewery in mid-2019, and during our very first six months we immediately climbed to the top of the Ratebeer.com competition for the best new mini-brewery in the Czech Republic. And we had not descend from there even after 2020 and thus defended our ambitions.
We adore a wide range of beer styles, all kinds of flavors and fascinating aromas. We experiment and innovate with passion, with one goal in mind. To treat you with traditional and unusual taste experiences. So we brew, test, taste and taste and taste… and now we have already brewed dozens of different beer styles, including the mindblowing Session Mead style, which we brewed in the Czech Republic first and the public reaction was heartwarming.

Can at home, thanks Jose! Pours purpleish with an off white head. Nose is moderate fruity lighlty tart. Taste is blueberries, low tartness, a touch of malts. Wouldnt be bad but the fruit feels kinda soapy, and it’s just not quite there altogether.

Can, courtesy of Jose, thanks man! Pour a very pale yella with white head. Nose is restrained citric and grassy notes, but not much of them. Taste is that sweetish NA character more-or less masked by hops, but mainly just bitterness and it gets kinda hars here and there. Closes with a bitter, dry finish, has a light body and soft carbonation. Not that terrible, but the bitterness is just too much.

Can shared w Petra and Jose, courtesy of theirs. Reddish pour with a white head. Nose is juniper, citruses and herbs. Taste is moderately bitter, somewhat tart and citric, there's the juniper again and some spruce. Closes with a bitter finish, has a light body and soft carbonation. Did I mention already that I'm not particularly fond of gin? Oh well.

Can, courtesy of Jose, thanks man! It pours an opaque golden with white head. Nose is citric, grassy, somewhat spicy even with fruity hints. Tase is moderately fruity, with touches of grass, herbs and spices, there's a moderate to apparent bitterness to it. Closes with a dry finish, has a light to medium body and soft to average carbonation. Vic Secret is not my fav hop variety, so I'm not quite unbiased here.

Can, courtesy of Jose, thanks man! Pours purpleish burgundy with a pink head. Nose is intense blackcurrant, some spice and lactic sourness. Taste is sour upfront, like real sour. The sharp kind of sour: there's the lacto, there's the fruit and then the sumac that stings my mouth. With a few more sips it mellows and gets easier to tolerate, but it stays sour all the way: fruity, jammy and spicy. Closes with a tart, somewhat dry finish, has a light body and soft carbonation. Nice and fun.

Can at work. Opaque pinkish pour with a quickly dissipating white head. Nose is sour cherry bubblegum. Taste slightly sweet and somewhat tart, has that bubblegum character as the aroma, with a slightly bitter finish. Light to medium, somewhat creamy bodied with soft carbo. Pretty messy and it’s not quite clear to me what the intention was here.

Tap at CBF Vienna. A pretty plain berliner with subtle fruity notes and lactic sourness. Not bad, but not great either.

On tap at CBF Vienna. Meglehetősen jellegetlenen milk stout, a malátaprofil valahogy nem az igazi, és a vanília is csak amolyan tessék-lássék módon jön. Kissé a black mambára emlékeztet haha.

Tap at PB Fest, thanks for sharing Marko! Opaque golden pour, white head. Nose is grassy, malty. Taste is slightly bitter, grassy and herbal hoppy, a sweet touch. Alright lager, but really your classic svetly.
