Description
The Brewery was established by the De Coster-Depré family in 1897 and it was active till the eighties of the 20th century. Freddy Delvaux and the family gave a new lease of life to the old buildings of the Brewery in 2012. The new Brewery is the place where the Delvaux family can truly demonstrate their passion for special beers. Here, beers are cared for, invented, produced, consumed and promoted, and the Brewery is an unusual combination of science, the art of brewing, tourism and gastronomy.

750 ml. bottle sampled @ RBBSG III. Thanks to Mathieu87 & PriorL. Golden, fizzy white head. Nose is fizzy, ester & makes me think of artificial sweeteners. Tastes is same, artificial sweeteners, esters & boozy. Carbonation is out of had. One of these Belgians, eh.

Sampled @ RBBSG III. Hazy yellow color, small white head. Smell and taste lightly malts, lightly yeast, lightly herbal, a bit soapy. Average body and carbonation. Meh.

Medium beige head. Hazy deep amber body. Fruity mealy papery aroma with spicy perfumy notes. Dry-acidic spicy fruity taste with wooden spicy notes. Mid-bodied. Faintly astringent mouthfeel. Dryish fruity wooden spicy aftertaste. Interesting, drinkable, and very unusual. (0.3l draft at the brewery. By style this is a peeterman. That is, an amber wit coloured by a long boil.)

Caña en el lúpulo. 09-04_2014. Color rubio traslucido con espuma blanca poco persistente. Aromas maltosos y algo cítricos bastante suaves. Sabores también maltosos y con ligeros toques cítricos y herbáceos. Refrescante y para el verano. Sin muchas complicaciones.

7/IX/13 - 75cl (?) bottle @ Tuinfeest Heeren van Liedekercke - BB: n/a (2013-830) Thanks to Kris for sharing today's beers!

Cloudy orange beer, big creamy yellow head, pretty stable, non adhesive. Aroma: fruity, peaches, bit of exotic fruits, citrus, little chemical, band-aid. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: fruity start, peaches, some citrus, bit sugary and sweet, soft bitterness. Aftertaste: sweet ripe fruits, peaches, some exotic fruits. Very ok beer. Almost freaky to see afterwards how my description is very accurate with the commercial description of the brewery...
