Taste: Medium sweet, malty, candy, light toasty, later light spicy. Palate: Medium body. Sticky texture. Light warm finish.

Draught. Ambery brown colour with a mediumsized beige head. Aroma is clove, some alcohol, spices, and dried dark fruits. Flavour is syrup, some clove, cinnamon, alcohol and mild yeastiness. Also has a slight touch of burnt rubbery tones to it.

Draught. Hazy amber colour with a mediumsized foamy slightly off-white head. Aroma is spices, herbs,some yeast, sweet malts and mild toffee notes. Flavour has the same elements as the aroma, but also has a slight bit of toasted notes to it. Quite mellow and actually good spiced ale.

A golden and hazy beer, a head is big and blond. Aroma has fresh perries, light spicyness and grain. Taste has fruitness of perries, light spicyness. Medium bodied, high carbonation. Fresh, not complicated but nice.

Super Kroon ? Je ne vois pas ce que cette bière à de super, je la trouve même quelque peu grossière par rapport à une Orval dont elle se veut être dans la lignée. Le visuel est sur un ambré voilé avec une fine effervescence soutenue et une mousse blanc cassé abondante et crémeuse. Le nez est sur une alliance Brett, pomme, citron, bois et fraise. En bouche, nous retrouvons ces arômes avec une complexité très loin de l'Orval. On trouve tout de même en complément de légères épices avec une douceur relativement présente sur une base fraise/caramel. La vivacité est tout de même correcte mais sur une intensité moyenne tout comme la corpulence. L'alcool, à 6,8 % est très correct quant à lui. L’arrière-bouche revient alors sur l'acidité (un brin trop pour moi). Le final, court, est quant à lui peu intéressant. Une sous-Orval.

Bottle shared by Tom - many thanks! Clear orange, stable, frothy, white head. Aroma of ripe mandarin, apple, yeast, minerals, banana, honey. Taste has sweet-sour apple, pear & mandarin flesh in a honeyish, yeasty body. Floral hoppy finish with ripe yellow fruits, quite minerally, some warming white wine-like alcohol. Medium body, slick-moussy texture, average carbonation. Pleasant apéritif.

Bottle at Airbnb in Leuven. Quite a floral aroma. Lagom appearance with reasonable carbonation. Taste is more bland with a boozy blonde belgian ending. Lagom beer.
