Description
Our brewery can be found on the High Street in Montferri, a small village in the region of Tarragona with a population of 150 inhabitants. Montferri is located in a beautiful area surrounded by woods, vineyards and olive and almond trees, all of which are provided with water from the river Gaià, the same river that we get water from to make our beer and give it the special taste and flavour it has. The building has a brewing area, warehouses, an office and a small reception area where we hold meetings with friends and visitors. The brewing vat has a capacity of 400 litres plus three fermentation tanks of 1000 litres each where we make 300hl of beer a year. We take great care of each litre of this small production in order to be able offer a wide selection of beers.

Cloudy and flat, with a mellow tan character. The aroma has a little pepper, and a hint of herbal yeastiness. Thin. There isn’t much malt to carry the spicy notes, and definitely not enough to balance out the light estery character.

750mL bottle, pours a cloudy opaque with a small white head. Aroma brings out light citrus, dry saison yeast, and light tartness. Flavour is fairly tart, with citrus, some vegetal notes, and dry yeasty notes. Something a little off about this. Vegetal, citric finish. Not too impressive.

Bottle, Øllets dag, Kolding. Slightly herbal, but not much thyme, really have to look for it. Malty flavour, sweetish. Nice and quite drinkable.
