Sampled from 0.23 l bottle from 'AH' (Den Bosch), best before April 2018. Clear, luscious red with a few white bubbles on top. Extremely sweet, artificially fruity aroma of raspberry juice and some strawberries. Very sweet, minimally sourish, rather artificially fruity taste of raspberry juice, strawberry bubblegum and some gummy bears, followed by a short, minimally tart, just a bit dry finish. Thin body, minimally astringent and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Artificial crap.

Cider number 2 for tonight, can from LCBO. Pours a light golden-yellow colour with a big frothy white cap, and long stay with creamy thick lacing. Don't think I ever got that from a cider (as usually fizzes away quickly). Apple nose at first, but not too crazy, and seems like real apples. Maybe some yellow apples. Quite malty, then yeasty and even some hops it seems in the end. The taste is a little sweeter, but not to rich, to not like. Apples and good sugars will say. Don't remember Strongbow feeling like you are drinking a beer, but an apple one. This "Gold" one sure seams like it. Pretty nice!

Bottle at Black Sheep Beer House, Varna, Bulgaria. Shared with lovely Anja and Our K&K Igor. Very pale, transparent. Blueberry candy or yoghurt, vanilla and light wood. Nice balance, sweet with residual sugars. Light body, moderate carbonation, moderately lasting finish. Strange, but good.

Bottle at Black Sheep Beer House, Varna, Bulgaria. Shared with lovely Anja and Our K&K Igor. Clear straw colour, no head. Like drinking whiskey & dry with apple or pear aroma and light bubblegum. Dry, developing light pear and honey sweetness. Light body, soft carbonation, moderate lasting finish. Quite nice.

Sehr süßer und künstlicher Antrunk von Apfelringen. Dabei zwar süffig aber keinesfalls erfrischend, die Süße steigt eher noch, Zuckerschock. Nja... 5/6/8/5/4/5
