17/2/2024. Bottle from Matthias, cheers. Pours clear dark golden with a small frothy white head. Aroma is malty, fruity, caramel, slightly metallic and veggie. Medium plus sweetness, moderate bitterness and body. Quite fizzy. It’s okay.

Panda at home, thanks to Graham Grumbo, 21/12/23. Moderately hazed golden with an off white cap that retains well. Nose is pale malts, herb, hedgerow, toasted grains, faint lemon whisper. Taste comprises pale malts, light citric zest, grass, herb, perfume, touch of bread dough, light white peppery spice, yeast notes, almost coming over like a weak Belgian brew. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Okay pils.

Can. An almost clear one, golden in color, with a dense, finger-thick off-white head. Some lacing. The aroma is fruity and sugary, with little else going on. Some grassy hints. It’s full to medium bodied, lightly warming and sweet, with a gentle bitterness. Fruity, grassy, bready and lightly alcoholic flavor. Some hay. Medium length warming finish. Uninteresting, but drinkable. 231125
