Pretty decent beer. And this in the midst of a bunch of world class Mikkellers. Pours baby orange with good lacing and head. Aroma of booze and some florals. Cream texture. Finished slightly sweet. A little too Bala.ce towards the booze end here. With some tweaking this could be really excellent. Slightly bitter finish. Tap at volos.

650mL bottle, sent from wilco (thanks Mike), pours jet black with a medium light brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, chalk, whiskey barrels, and bitter cocoa powder. Flavour brings out potent whiskey barrels upfront, full of flavour without the booziness, dry cocoa, moderate roasted malt, and a bit of chalk. Full-bodied, dry and whiskey-dominated - full of flavour, with all notes on cohesion. Great stuff - a tad better than the original.

Pours pure gold. Good but not super memorable. Ok head and lacing. Nice bitterness at the end. Aroma hoppy with some citrus. On tap at barvolo.
