Tap at Lil Beaver. Perhaps one of the worst examples of the style I have had. Aroma isnt there at all. Malts are odd. Seems off. Not the worst Pale Lager, but just not a good Czech Pils.

Brown colour, not much head. Cocoa and coffee liquer in the nose. Light-bodied to medium-bodied. Earthy, liquerish, cocoa, alcohol, oak. A bit too shallow. At taproom.

At taproom. Hazy yellow colour and small white head. Orange fruity aroma. Light-bodied to medium-bodied. Juicy, grapefruity, citrusy flavour. Nice citrusy flavour.

At taproom. Hazy orange colour and small white head and lace. Tropical fruits and dishwater in the nose. Medium-bodied. Flavour much better, grapefruity, riped mango and apricot, bitter. Solid.

A bit cloudy golden-amber colour, small white head. Citrus and light honey in the nose. Medium-bodied. Citrusy, bitter, some honey with is not so prominent. Very hoppy bitter ipa. At taproom.

Pint can from somewhere, 10/8/22, somehow still drinking after my 20k tasting. Slightly hazy yellow, thin white head, average retention. Aroma of sweet peach, peach skins, plum. Mild tartness. Taste is tart peach, vanilla, apricot, lemon. Lingering tartness, refreshing (but maybe just refreshing after a tasting full of high ABV beers). High carb. Nice.

The aromas are rotten citrus fruit with a little sweat and straw. Flavors are somewhat similar to nose, somewhat sweet up front with decent bitter and carbonation plus some odd qualities of butterscotch and mint. Good body and finish follows flavors.

First sample at Beer Under Glass 2022. The smell is mostly of a nice big barrel-aged stout. Very little cinnamon in the nose. Dark color with a very thin layer of bubbles. Nice big imperial stout taste. Coconut is very light. The cinnamon starts to pop up a little more as I sip through my taster. Well done dessert beer. probably not as big on alcohol as others. But a very nice type beer

Pint can from Woodman's Appleton, 5/13/22. Oily black, thin fizzy dark brown head, poor retention. Aroma of strong coffee, roast, dark fruits, coffee grounds, vanilla. Taste is bitter roast, coffee, smoke. A bit thin. Nice.
