330 ml can. Pale golden body with a small, diminishing white head. Aroma has some apple in it, but mostly like these industrial products that put cider on the label without really being close to a cider. The flavor is ditto, like soda pop with apple flavor. Synthetic apple and synthetic acid, no real fruit whatsoever. Normally I don’t have this big need to make a tick out of this kind of fake product, but what the hell, Tanzania is far away and I don’t go there every year. This is an easy drinkable product made for kids that don’t like beer (or real ciders for that matter) but it has not anything to do with a cider. There are no off-flavors but nothing good about it either, just much to sweet with no real flavor. Don’t like it at all.

Has a fruitiness to it that you wouldn’t expect from a cider, but it’s not really a cider now, is it? A slightly bitter aftertaste, and cherry and apples I could pick up. It’s an all right drink but a little too sweet for my liking.

I guess the major selling point for this one is its alcohol content, but otherwise it’s just a low qualtiy lager. Scent of alcohol and malt, taste of syrupiness and alcohol, not much head. Kind of okay if you want to get trashed, but basically it’s a Tanzanian malt liquor.

A slightly better beer than the cheapies that are available all around Tanzania but still nothing special. Aromas of hops and grains, smooth taste, average in every respect, but a good beer that you won’t be too disappointed with.

Aroma is of that weak old sock scent that most African lagers have, colour is gold-yellow and no head at all. Flavour is of cardboard and some slight malt-wateriness, and a basic mouthfeel. It’s a below average lager from Tanzania, but has the highest alcohol content of the common big-bottle ones so tends to be quite popular!

Scent of alcohol and dirty socks, naugahyde booths. But it has a decent dry taste with a hint of hops, and average palate. Decent lager, nothing special - though the fact that it’s brewed with corn starch puts me off even more.

Pale yellow with a small white head. Some spicy hop in a clean malt aroma. Dry with some hop flavour and bitterness. Excellent for a tropical lager.

(Can 34 cl) Courtesy of Rikke D. Clear, pale golden with a lively, white head. Sweetish aroma of malt and wet cardboard. Medium-bodied with lightly sweet malt, some fruit and cardboard accents also. No bitterness. 171207
