Slight haze. Thin, bubbly head. It's a bit sweet on the palate, but has a bright grapefruit accent both on the nose and palate, with some tropical notes as well. A bit more bitterness and this would really be a go-to for me.

Pours a straw colour with a hint of chill haze and a bubbly head. This looks like a cask ale, especially served in the cut 10oz half glass.

Dark brown, with just a thin head. There’s a fair bit of molasses on the palate, and that sugariness does lend a bit to the body, to complement the toastier malt elements. Sampled again five weeks later, I found these elements perhaps more pronounced, certainly tastier, and this to be a well-rounded and characterful porter.

Soft sweet barley on the nose, has modest brown body and minimal foam. Flavour is modest barley and nothing else really. Sweet on the tongue. Rather okay but a bit boring.

Decent enough malt sweetness on the nose, has modest black body with minimal foam. Flavour is semi-weak barley and coffee notes with some sweetness. Mouthfeel is full and refreshing nonetheless. It's an okay stout though hardly memorable.

The aroma is okay lagery hops with a bit of chalk, has cloudy yellow body with minimal foam. Flavour is bright floral lager, nice chalk hints. Mouthfeel is a bit sweet and dry, kind of nice actually. This is not a bad lager at all.

Modest hops aroma, has boring gold body with little foam. Flavour is modest candy hops, minimal oiliness. I found this to be pretty mediocre in the world of IPAs.

On tap at Red Bird, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma bright out toasted malt, earthy notes, and some brine. Flavour is dry, with earthy notes, some brine and gently toasted malt. Light and lacking oomph. Kinda lame.

On tap at Red Bird, pours black with a small beige head. Aroma brings out robust roasted malt, some toasted notes and earthy notes. Flavour is along the same lines, with earthy toasted malt and a hint of cocoa. Dry and earthy, with a bit of rubber. It's alright.

On tap at Red Bird, pours a clear pale golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out gentle grainy notes and crisp crackery malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with cereal grains and crisp crackery malt. Grainy and seltzery. Not great.
