Bottle split with Josh at the Cask, Pimlico, 13/06/13. Light black with a thin tan head which clears to a film. Nose carries rich espresso roast, dark fruits, little clues that it was infected. Taste comprises sour notes, infected, coffee, lactic tones. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, sour finish. Meh. We had 2 bottles of this, the 2nd was just the same and carried floaties. Don’t like to rate infected beers but worth it to warn others, there are many breweries which I’ve never had any such issues with, others seem to be regular offenders.

33cl Bottle at Rooie Dop Brewdungeon. Hazy orange/amber colour, off-white head. Aroma of lovely fruity hops, mango, grapefruit, citrus, oranges, hint of caramel. Flavour is juicy, hoppy, citrus, oranges, tropical fruits, firm bitter hoppy finish. Medium-bodied, slick mouthfeel. Very nice DIPA.

33cl Bottle at Rooie Dop Brewdungeon, RBESG ’13. Slightly hazy golden orange colour, off-white head. Aroma is very fruity, lots of fruity hops, citrus, almost soapy, peach, mango, grapefruit. Flavour is light sweet, floral, loads of fruity hops, light fruit acid tingle, light soapy firm bitter hoppy finish. Light-bodied, nice.

Bottle @ Rooie Dop, Utrecht. Clear orange color, small white head. Smell malts, hops, pine. Taste malts, hops, pine, bitterness, flowers. Lovely double IPA.

Bottle @ Brew Dungeon Rooie Dop Utrecht. Slightly hazy golden color, small white head. Smell lightly malts, lots of fruits and hops. Taste lightly malts, hops, lots of fruits, lightly grapefruit and bitter. Lovely, absolutely lovely.

dark brown colour, moderate brownish head; aroma of roasted malt, some coffee and minimal vanilla, apple and alcohol; taste of roasted malt, coffee again and hints of alcohol; much less complex and intensive taste compared to the bourbon barrel aged version; a bit like a light version, otherwise ok stout

@Nederlandse Bieren Festival Delft - Bitter, roasted malt aroma. Has a very rich, creamy texture. Flavour is bittersweet with some coffee grinds. Some sweet fruitiness comes through in the finish.

@Nederlandse Bieren Festival Delft - Red/orange colour with strong lacing. Aroma has some fruity hop and also caramel. It’s rich and quite thick. Overall sweet, fruity and hoppy too.

@Nederlandse Bieren Festival Delft - Hazy blond colour. Aroma of tropical fruit. Texture is smooth. It’s quite bitter but the hops have a strong fruity taste. Indeed a very east to drink session beer packed with flavour.
