Tap. Blond! Looks like a Stille nacht. Sweet aroma, candi sugar, tropical fruit, but not in a hoppy way, pears. Taste is good, but the booze is full on. Punch in the face. Pint was stupid, but good value. Apples in the taste, sweet, belgian yeasty, bit brash though. Honey when it warms a little. And actually became pretty rank when it warmed a bit more. Seems to lack finesse.

Pour is a dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma is not a huge chocolate but I am getting a large cinnamon. Flavor is again a very minor bitter chocolate with some ashy malt. This was a bit too thin and not enough chocolate stood out.

bottle - Cloudy gold pour, spicy aroma with obvious coriander along with yeast, malt and a hint of fruit. The flavor is sweet, spicy and yeasty. There’s some alcohol presence. Medium bodied. It’s alright though underwhelming for the style.
