Description
At Picaroons, we do beer differently. Our open-fermentation system is unique in Atlantic Canada, since 1995. We make beer for people who love to drink it, and we brew our English-style ales with care.

Lightly hazed red copper ale with a medium off-white head, dense and resilient. Lots of butterscotch, fruits and herbs in aroma, with vanilla notes. In mouth, a bit too sweet, with the butterscotch/diacetyl becoming a problem, in my POV. Rather thin in mouth. Nice light hops come and help, but doesnt quite do it for me. Still, a decent offering. Thanks Bobby! March 2005 from OKBeer.

Amber-chestnut colour. Fruit aroma (apricot, plum) with liquorice, hint of bubblegum. Fruity palate - plums and bubblegum again, with watermelon. Background of light bitterness and wood. Kent Goldings seldom do it for me, but if they do you'll probably like this more than I as it is a decently made, balanced beer.

Amber-chestnut colour. Whispy head. Lots of willamettes in the aroma - mossy and swampy as they always are. Toasty, nutty palate with hints of canned pears, olive oil and wood. Clean, moderate bitterness. Off-dry finish.
