Poured from a bottle at home. Light amber color, not much aroma and foam. But in the taste I liked the ginger, refreshing. For a warm day an alright starter.

Golden colour with quick fading head. Aroma and flavour are strong with ginger root and said ginger adds a gentle warmth. Light bodied and fresh. It’s not bad but I’m not keen on ginger.

Golden colour with lasting lacy head. It’s a beer with a fairly plain, pale malt taste. Lacks depth. Marginally better than a typical lager but for a much higher price.

Smell of spruce. Amber colour, small white head. Aroma of grain, malt. Very mild aroma, very short. Quite boring. Not an IPA, a grainy pale ale.

Gedronken uit fles, thuis. Beetje licht bier, maar toch wat bitterheid erin. Al met al vond ik het niet tegenvallen.

On tap. Pours red gold. Sharp vinegar, vegetables, syrup, maybe some biscuit and certainly a little mango and peach. Really pretty awful.

Bottle @ Harpenden Arms, Harpenden. Deep, slightly hazed golden coloured ale with a very thin head and a carbonation. Ginger is dominant in aroma and taste and its aftertaste, but is not overbearing, although there’s no getting away fro it.

330ml bottle: BBD 11th Jul 17. The fourth beer in a tasting session with myself on 1st Jul 17. Golden pour, weak head. Subtle citrus notes in both the nose and taste, alongside there is a semi-sweet maltiness for balance. Always nice to find unusual beers in cheap shopping outlets, even if they turn out to be crap! This was fine actually.
