Bottle at Piccadilly, Bod. Pours a clear amber color with an off-white head. Careful and sweet aroma of caramel, pale malt, dried fruit and cooked vegetables. Flavor of harpix, caramel, leather, metal, grassy hops. Strange bitterness and is unbalanced. Has a slick mouth feel, medium body and a medium to heavy bitterness. A little weird and unbalanced ale. Far from an IPA.

330 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 4.6%. Deep golden to orange colour, moderate to low white head. Aroma of malts, dust and cooked vegetables. The dry flavour has also notes of malts and dust, some hoppy bitterness, but not much hop flavour besides the bitterness. 20 years ago I might have thought that this beer was better than average - but with today’s selection of pale ales, this one comes out as boring.

330ml bottle into glass. Has a ’stale bread’ aroma with a whiff of nuts and hops. Cloudy golden beer with nice white head & a few bubbles. Zingy mouthfeel, cashew finish with a sour/bitter note right at the end. Easy drinking, refreshing, not bad.

Bottle at the work Christmas party. Pale golden colour with a big white head. Big fruity and citrus hops with a long bitter finish. Since tried in bottle from Home Bargins and re-reviewed, i didn’t find the big hops this time more corn and sweet.
