33cl Bottle from The Beer Tree. Clear light amber/orange colour, white head. Aroma of root beer/ginger beer, very lemonade-like, artificial. Flavour is of ginger beer, tiny hint of the promised honey, just very sweet and artificial, light malty, just not very pleasant if you expect a beer. Light-bodied, fizzy.

33cl Bottle from The Beer Tree. Clear amber colour, white head. Aroma of some light grassy hops, some pine, light malts. Flavour is medium sweet, light fruity, light malty, light pine, light grass, light bitter finish. Light bodied. Went well with my roti, but otherwise forgettable.

Look: clear golden-amber, smallish off-white head.
Aroma: sweet, sugary, old malt, no hop aroma whatsoever.
Taste: old malt with some caramel and a little honey, a bit fruity, barely bitter and fizzy finish. Obviously unfresh.

Bottle at the People’s Park Tavern, thanks to JF for sharing, 13/09/14. Clear golden with a big off white head of bubbles. Nose is root ginger, spice, fruit, banana bread. Taste comprises bread dough, straw, honey, ginger, fruit rinds. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. So so.

Bottle at peoples park tavern. Aroma is fake ginger cola! Somewhat sweet. Flavour is fentemens cola! Little spicy ginger. Flavour is thin ginger cola, spice and nutty malts. palate is light highish carbonation. Mediocre.
