Bottle from a beer shop in Whitstable. Poured a slightly hazy straw colour with a frothy white head. The aroma is yeast, light fruit, some malt. The flavour is moderate bitter with a light dry crisp, light buttery, Duvel like palate. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation. A superb beer for the ABV.

Bottle from a beer shop in Whitstable. Poured a hazy medium amber with a frothy white long-lasting head. The aroma is malt, some yeast, grassy citrus hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a dry crisp fruity hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Bottle from a bottle shop. Size is not important :-) Poured a hazy medium brown with a thin broken off white head. The aroma is roasty chocolate malt light floral hop. The flavour is moderate to light liqourice bitter with a light dry roasty charcoal light hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle shared. Very dark brown with tan head. Aroma of roast, dark chocolate and weird light eggy notes. Flavour is light moderate sweet and bitter. Light medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Cask at GBBF 2016. Day 1. Pours clear brown with a frothy, tan head. A little tangy, with notes of dried berries, vague chocolate, toasty malts. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Finishes with touches of leathery berries. Not bad.

[9/22/16] Bottle sample at Pre-Borefts RateBeer Tasting at ABC Beers in Den Haag. Thanks everyone for sharing bottles! Orange. Aroma of malt, caramel, some minerals. Sweetish flavor with malt, minerals, a bit of caramel, fruity note, bitterish earthy hops finish. Light to medium-bodied.

Thank you jmgreenuk. 500 ml. bottle sampled @ Pre-Borefts Ratebeer Tasting 2016. Hazy orange, little white head. Nose is weak apple, cardboard, sugar, plain at best, lightly watery. Taste is watery sweet apple, cardboard, sugar,… Body is cooked apple & cardboard. Wouldn’t call this Dead Good.
