Bottle. Color: Clear copper, very thin beige head. Aroma: Malty, raisins. Taste: Dark malt, raisins, some caramel. Hints of almond. Over moderate sweet. Light bitterness going to moderate at dry-ish finish. Nice one, definitely brewed with craftsmanship. Well balanced. Nice complexity for a Quad. Over medium body, below average carbonation.

Bottle shared, darker orange beer, small head. Aroma is smoke, wood, sweet, malt, caramel, fruit. Taste is the same, sweet, wood, smoke, malt, fruit, bitter aftertaste, not bad

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ van Rooij, Culemborg. Black pour with an off-white head. Malty aroma with some spicy buckwheat notes and some hops. Sweet taste with a leathery spicy finish. Surprisingly tastefull for its modest ABV Great beer.

75 cl. bottle shared with Rick @ home, bought @ van Rooij, Culemborg. Clear brown with an off-white head. Malty aroma with dark caramel, raisins and figs. Sweet taste with a sweet boozy finish. Servicable Quad.

Bottle At Derat Utretcht. Hazy russet colour lasting beige head. smoke aroma. more smoke I thought rather good good malt. Good smoke.

On tap at Derat hazy orange gold colour. lasting white head. slightly hoppy flavour. a little simple a little plain. fine light hops some orange grapefruit flavour.
