Taster pour at Sierra Nevada Beer Camp Across America. Appearance is dark brown, ring of foamy light brown head, mild sparkle. Aroma is roasted malt, hint of chocolate. Taste is roasted malts with smokiness--bordering on ash, but good. Palate is light-to-medium bodied with thin texture, soft to average carbonation and roasted, smoky malt finish. Overall, nice roasted malt flavor with some interesting smoke.
