330ml bottle bought at Systembolaget in Växjö last summer. Close to clear, dark golden body. Loose beige, poor lacing-head. Earthy malts and dusty hops to the nose. Flavours of herbal malts and dried fruits followed by resinous hops to the ending. Warming alcohol. Medium bodied and smooth in the mouth. Has got its moments (Tromsø 18.10.2013).

Cask at the Lyric, Soho, 09/10/13. Clear golden with a frothy off white head. Nose is bready malts, dark fruit, grassy tones, orchard fruit. Taste comprises light floral notes, touch of caramel, fruity overtures. Medium bodied, soft carbonation - good conditioning on this number, semi dry grassy bitterness at the curtain call. Ok GB - had this down as a bitter myself.

Bottle 330ml. @ [ (Easter "Flags of many nations" Tasting) by Chriso - London ].Clear medium orange yellow colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - caramel, light to moderate hoppy, light alcohol. Flavour is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration, vintage malt, alcohol. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20130331]

Appearance: Clear deep golden color with a tan head. Ok lacing.
Aroma: Malty and rich fruity.
Palate: Medium + body. A bit sweet and a moderate bitterness. Soft carbonation.
Taste: Dominating fruity, some spices and malty.
Overall impression: Not my cup of tea. Seemed a bit unbalanced.

Keighley Beer Festival. Golden with a small head. Has a light floral aroma, some malts too in both aroma and taste. Has a medium to high bitterness.

Poured from cask into my third pint glass at The Great British Beer Festival, Olympia. Clear golden body. Diminishing white head. Semi-dry aroma of leafy hops. Gently hopped flavours on a light malty backbone. Smooth and dry bitter finish, short lived. Okay (London 13.08.2013).

From cask. Pours clear and golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is peachy and mild grapefruity. Smooth fruity and light peachy to citrusy. Dry and bitter herbal hops finish.

Small offwhite head. Slightly hazy amber body with carbonation. Dried fruit and perfumy banana aroma with spicy notes. Sweet, and faintly dry, smoky oily dried fruit taste with ashy honeyish notes. Fullish body. Mild, slighly hot mouthfeel. Dryish fruity oily banana aftertaste, again with an ashy, smoky background. Did not really enjoy, because of the ash. (0.33l bottle, from Systembolaget Nordstan, Göteborg.)

Bottle at Lilla Bjers, Gotland. Pours dark brown with a beige head. Sweet aroma of dark baking syrup. Rather light sweet chocolate and some rosted malt.

500ml Bottle: BBD of Sep 2013, poured into an Abbot Ale glass tankard at home during July 2013. Misty old gold body with a weak and thin white covering. Fruity and floral aroma with some grain notes as the beer warmed a little, a trace of sweetness arrived late on too. The taste was also fruity, but with a pleasant bitter finish. There was a yeast feel to the flavours throughout, along with a mild malt presence that all blended together to make an interestingly flavoured brew. Nicely carbonated and an all round fine beer.
