Bottled. Rubyish amber colour, mediumsized slightly off-white head. Aroma is fruity and floral notes with mild chocolaty notes. Flavour is quite similar and a nice balance.

Cask (gravity) @ The 17th Reading Beer and Cider Festival 2011, Reading, Berkshire England.Clear dark brown colour with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, dark dried berry, molasses, licorice notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Bottle from The Cave. This is not a porter. Hazy dark brown - ruby red colour, tan head. Nose is cinnamon, bit of fruits. Flavour is light malted, spicy with cinnamon and cloves, some fruits. Fairly bitter finish.

Bottled at Stockholm Beer Festival. Hazy dark brown, small head. Tarry licorice aroma. Mid sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Some glue and burnt bread. Low bitterness.

Bottled at Stockholm Beer Festival. Near clear amber, small head. Fruity black pepper aroma. Mid sweet with clean, rounded mouthfeel and fairly light body. Faint caramel, low on hops, mild but evident black pepper flavour.

Cask at The Hop Pole, Aylesbury, Bucks, 21.01.11 Pours chestnut with a swirly filmy off-white head. Sweet malty fruit nose, with more of the same in the mouth. This has a slight rustic quality about it, thick mouthfeel, some woodiness, good beer but one pint was probably enough. A7 A4 T7 P3 Ov14 3.5
