Brewery draught, 9/5/24. Heavily hazy, bronze-maize. Small, off-white head. Fresh and floral with tons of fresh-squeezed citrus. Biscuity, almost nutty malt. Clean. Lightly juicy, quite spicy with some Nelson character but a very light body. Clean, though, and there's malt up front, it just dries/thins out a bit too much for my liking.

Brewery draught, 9/5/24. Nicely hazy, deep maize-golden. Small, white head. Juicy and malty, clean with mango and orange. Good floral character on the finish. Juicy, soft, moderately malty, drying out pretty well. Very Citra-oriented and straightforward. Clean.

Brewery draught, 9/5/24. Clear copper. Small, white head. Citra and biscuit with a hint of soft caramel and lingering black tea. No heavy toast. Again it lacks the gross iced tea and toast that made this style quite repulsive to me when done poorly. Other than that, it's soft, lightly sweet malt, soft citrus and lingering biscuit. Dries out well. Clean.

Brewery draught, 9/5/24. Clear, blonde-brass. Small, white head. Apple, dust, earth, must....hmmm, not what you want in a helles... That same dusty, musty, lightly unclean character, though with a good attempt at maltiness. Hints of sweet malt dry out considerably. Some spicy hops are notable but scant. Maybe the hops are causing the off flavors? Not sure.

Brewery draught, 9/5/24. Cloudy pink-blueberry juice. Small, pinkish head quickly to edges. A more mellow nose than your avg kettle sour. Authentic fruit character is gently tart and nicely juicy. Lots of biscuit and cracker below it. Tart, moderately acidic. A nutty, wheat-like, very lean body but not thin. Juicy, tart, fruity. Pretty nice mellowed character. Refreshing.

Brewery draught, 9/5/24. Clear dark amber, small beige head. Excellent mix of smoke and base malt leading to a rich, caramel and milk chocolate character with dry woodsmoke. Clean. Lighter with moderate maltiness and excellent smoke and malt flavors. Burnt wood, toffee, caramel and light coffee. Needs just a pinch more body, but it's clean and dry.

Taster pour on tap at Rhode Island Brew Fest. It's an opaque dark brown with significant light brown head with good retention. Aroma is moderately strong nice roasted malt. Taste is strong earthy malts. A dank quality like a walk through a rainforest--humid vegetal. Hint of toffee. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, aroma is pretty conventional but the taste is pretty distinct. Decent.

Milky orange pour and frothy head. Nose is thick citrus and some grass. Tastes of mandarin oranges, grassy, floral, touch of bubble gum, guava. Some bitters. First brew I’ve had from these fellas happy to try.
