Clean yellow/gold with a foamy and firm white head. Aroma is very light. Citrus and biscuit mainly. Flavor is equally light with a little more of that citrus and a fleeting dank note. Very clean profile. Smooth finish. This beer is fine but it just needs more. More citrus, more dank, more snap on the finish.
Ocean Beach Christmas Collab. Left. Caramel nutty.

12oz can in the sunshine by the pool at my daughters place in Laguna Hills, poured into a Temecula Football Club straight sided sleeve glass on 8th January 2023. It washed down a small packet of 'Cheetos', not too sure I could have drunk it without them to be honest. Mini-haze to the dull golden body, no head to speak off. No aroma or flavour either really, typical Mexican style Lager then!

Not actually what I ordered but this is absolutely what I got. Dullish dark gold. Ok lots of cucumber taste. Tart finish, so quite refreshing. All good - I like this and kind of needed it.

Fruity hop, some stone fruit, moderate bitterness. Crackery malts, decent alcohol in the finish.

Hazy but sort of dull pale. Thin head. Hops are mild, some lemony notes, maybe a bit floral. Malts are thin and there’s a splash of alcohol in the finish. Just ok, wouldn’t mind brighter.

Can. Pours a clear-ish orange hue with a medium white head. A big sweet tropical and malty nose. Rich, this is almost barleywine like, rich malts, toast, berries. After some investigation, this is a bit old. Maybe 1.5 years. I'll re-rate if I find a fresh one. Johns strikes again. No oxidation. I enjoyed it.

16oz single from the Barrio location. Pint glass @home. Frothy, very sticky, but thin head. Fresh pine, very soft sweetness, a little generic on the nose. Lager smooth. Moderate but even bitterness, lingering, tea tannins, very even from front to back. Frothy, mellow acidity, low abv. Nothing special.

Goblet pour from the source. $10! Opaque, even honey orange, pretty still look. Smell is at first very apple-y & lime-y, little acid, but it turns savory as it warms. Taste is pineapple, cream, strong bread yeast notions & ginger. Very little bitterness. Tastes like a good chicken marinade. Low carbonation, a little bready, but good acid helps. Can't do the full pour though. Interesting.
