Description
Originally the Sailerbrauerei was mentioned in a document for the first time in 1544. After a long history 1967 is considered to be the decisive point in the history of the brewery. In that year the master brewer Gerd Borges and his then wife Gertrud, née. Sailer took over the management of the brewery and made the brewery a great success. After 36 years Borges decided to sell the enterprise. Since 2003 Sailerbräu and the brand Altenmünster Brauer Biere became through the Allgäuer Brauhaus part of the Radeberger Gruppe.

From old tasting notes. Hazy, dark copper color. Big rocky beige head. Interesting, smoky, yeasty malt nose. Tangy, smoked malt flavor hints at lemon peel and smoked meat. There is an underlying wheatiness to this brew. Overall, a very unique wheat beer.

Boca 0,5L - pivo pristiglo iz obećane zemlje, slabije gazirano, pomalo slatkastoga okusa, alkohol se i uopće ne osjeti iako ga ima 7,5%

Bottle. Color: Pale gold, white head. Taste: Malt, bread, watery. Very lightly notes of some kind of herbs. Where are the hops gone? Only some lightly notes of them. Grainy / bread notes in the also watery finish. Not refreshing. No taste. Why even bothering to brew this beer...? Only because the bottle is a nice one...

500 ml bottle served in mug, clear golden with medium foam head. Grass, citrus, grain. Quite bitter, but not hoppy. Soft carbonation, thin body. Reminds me more on a Pils than Helles. Hop extract just adds bitterness, but no aroma.
