Clear pale yellow beer, creamy white head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. aroma: spicy, coriander, dry, bit peppery, orange peel, fruity, some banana. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: sourish, bit lemony, bitter, very yeasty, coriander. Aftertaste: orange peel overload, very fruity, lots of coriander, long lasting orange peel, bit sourish. Lacking some balance, way too fruity for a saison, I think.

Draft. Golden color, white head. Aroma of grain and barnyard. Fresh taste of grain, fruity yeast and a pleasent subtle sourness. Drinkable and quite nice.

Old rating, somewhere in 2011 in ’t Vervolg, Leuven. Clear blond colour, white foam. Medium carbonation. Sweet and malty, very watery. Not very good.

Sampled @ O.B.E.R. Kerstbierfestival 2014, Essen. Trübes dunkelbraunes Bier mit geringer beigen Schaumkrone. Geruch röstmalzig, schokoladig, fruchtig. Geschmack röstmalzig, schokoladig, würzig, fruchtig.

Sampled @ O.B.E.R. Kerstbierfestival 2014, Essen. Trübes braunes Bier mit einer geringen beigen Schaumkrone. Geruch würzig malzig, süß, Gewürze. Geschmack süß malzig, Spekulatius, Gewürze.

Sampled at Kerstbierfestival Essen 2014. Murky brownish color, small off-white head. Smell and taste malts, sweet, a hint of chocolate, mocha, dark fruits. Decent body and carbonation.

750 ml. bottle sampled @ O.B.E.R. Kestbierfestival 2014. (Thx!) Dark brown, beige bubbles. Nose is varnish, sweet mocha & spices. Taste is grainy cheap chocolate & coffee, grounds, malt, milk chocolate. Okay.

750 ml. Bottle sampled @ O.B.E.R. Kestbierfestival 2014. (Thx!) Murky brown, beige head. Nose is kitchen spices, all spices, odd, Speculoos,… Taste is allspice, herbal, nutmeg, BE yeast, cinnamon,…. Yeasty body,… Weird, muted, doesn’t really work in my opinion.
