On tap at Brauhaus Herrsching, Tuesday 10th March 2026 after a walk from Herrsching S-Bahn to Kloster Andechs Bräustüberl and then back down to here. Pours gold, possibly unfiltered, sweetness and maltiness but a solid Helles, soft mouthfeel, very easy drinking. The bitterness comes through eventually, it's a good beer..Score 7.3

"Herrschinger Hell", vom Faß im Brauhaus Herrsching am Ammersee. Das einzige Bier dort unter der Bezeichnung Brauhaus Herrsching; alle übrigen auf der Karte kommen von der Irseer Klosterbräu, die wahrscheinlich auch dieses lohnbraut - zumindest auf den zum Kauf angebotenen Flaschen stand "gebraut in Irsee". - Goldgelb, leicht trüb; schöne Schaumringe. - Nase unauffällig. - Antrunk weich und etwas fülliger hellmalzig mit zarter Kekssüße und mild-aromatischer, weich zitrusfruchtiger Hopfung. Milder rezent, annähernd vollmundig, fein mineralisch. Im Abgang feine herbale und zitrusfruchtige Hopfenherbe. - Schönes, frisches aber ausgereiftes Helles mit milder aber aromatischer Hopfung. Bottle. Yellow-golden, very fluffy white foam. Aroma: sweet, malty, candy, dough, noble spicy-herbal hops. Malty taste, a little yeast, candy and cookies, light hop bitterness, good brew.
