Bottled (due to the request of the zoom RateBeer New Years chatz crowd). Black colour, small brown head. Aroma is liquorice, some slight wood, alcohol and some slight sherry tones and a bit vanilla too. Flavour is liquorice, some toasted, smoked and mild wooden tones with vanilla and some slight alcohol tones. Really lean and smooth to sip on. As long as Alko carries this, this will be a go back to Impy!

0.5 l bottle from Vrutak, Zagreb. Shared with Marko. Hazy golden, small off-white head. Lightly to moderately hoppy, zest, orange, leaves, caramel, nuts, bread. Quite smooth, slightly tart, then turning slightly sweet and finally bitter! Zest, grass, leaves, alcohol bite from who knows where, lasting bitter finish, sightly harsh. Not bad, somewhat unbalanced.

Bottle. Hazy orange, off white head. Orange, honey, light oxidation. Orange and honey notes, brittle, interesting, soft, some alcohol, heavier bitterness. Huh, a bit gone, worth a rerate at some point.

Bottle at the HHP school at the Pulfer brewery, from Vrutak. Pale golden-yellow body, white head, quite plentiful. Rosemary notes, light white wine, some alcohol, honey and bitterish hoppy notes in the aroma. Light, soft taste, light honey, soft bubblegum, flowery and honeyish touches, light citrus, light oxidized maltiness, vaguely yeasty-meaty too. Hmmm. Got a lot going on, a bit messy, but not bad for an Irish-made saison I guess.

Bottle, 0.5l. Deep brown/black pour, one finger soapy beige head. Short lasting, poor retention. Minimal lacing on the glass as it goes down. Nose is roasted malt, some woody notes, hints of cocoa. Thin body, medium carbonation, lively, quite prickly on the tongue. Average mouthfeel and texture, a bit on the light side. Roasty bittersweet taste and aroma. Roasted malt, caramel, cocoa, coffee. Woody notes, coal, oats, a bit nutty. Vanilla. Gets a bit metallic towards the finish. Medium lasting finish, slightly dry. Decent.
