Description
On St. Patrick’s Day 2007, Double Mountain Brewery & Taproom was unveiled to a thirsty public. Double Mountain was founded by Matt Swihart and Charlie Devereaux with a clear mission: make great beer for craft beer fans! Ours is a “brewers’ brewery”, with an uncompromising focus on beer quality. From the beginning, our goal was to make beers that we liked to drink. All of our beers are served up unfiltered and long-aged, to deliver maximum flavor and character. The beers can be very complex and assertive, but with the ultimate goal of proper balance. We aim to satisfy both the hardcore aficionados and the more casual craft beer fan, all in the same glass.

Pour is a slight hazy orange with a large white head. Aroma is a nice tropical fruit. Not over the top but decent. Flavor is the same a nice fruity hop but not a huge tropical fruit. Decent beer but I think most people wanting this style want a thicker more heavy mouthfeel.

Tastes like a combination of an English and American IPA. American citrus and floral aroma. English malt and citrus taste. Hoppy finish.

500 ml bottle. Pours a clear orange color with a small white head. A big funky light lemon and cat urine. Light bitterness, soft malty body, resin, sweet resinous simcoe is quite clear. Very fun.

Slight haze, pale yellow. This has a fair bit of apple on the nose, more eating apple sort of thing. Light body, off-dry, maybe a touch of yeast, and has a bit of a nice apple accent to it.

500mL bottle, pours a hazy blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out crisp green apples, with lots of floral notes, and crisp apple skins. Flavour is along the same lines, with perfumey, floral notes, crisp apple skins, and green apples. Fairly dry and floral. Decent cider.
