Description
Brash was founded in 2012 by Ben Fullelove, but laws at the time kept him from brewing within city limits. The Brash Brewing Company came to life when he finally decided to move to Ipswich, Massachusetts. The outdated legislation that prevented brewery owners from operating a bar were overturned the next year and in October of 2015, Brash Brewing Company opened its doors.

Pours amber with a small head.Nose shows heavy sweet clean malt with some fruity confectionery and piny hops.Similar flavours with lots of malt and some pine and resinous hops, but then a massive sharp bitterness rolls through accompanied by a fair bit of booze.Body feels pretty thick.

Shared bomber in shaker. Nice hazy, light orange/amber. Tall, light head. Citrus nose but little in the taste. Heavy malt palate that I enjoy in DIPAs. Bitter and hoppy. Just a little bit too harsh on the aftertaste, but that probably disguises the high ABV.
