Bottle. Pours a dark brown with large creamy tan head that lasts awhile leaving sticky lacing. The aroma is a roasted malt, coffee, chocolate and smoke. Medium mouthfeel with strong coffee roast and brown sugar with a sweet finish. Hides alcohol well, a very impressive Imperial porter.

Bottled, not dated, large sample. Clear amber color, short frothy off-white head. Big hoppy aroma, resin, grapefruit, candy, strawberry, hint of pineapple, quite flowery. Bit caramel malt and hint of raisin. Very very bitter, towards aspirin-like powderyness. But actually in a good way, like basicly only the west coast DIPAs can taste and smell. It’s big, it’s strong, it’s bold. Great stuff.

Pours deep clear gold into a tulip. Bright white head with medium retention recedes to hug rim leaving spot lacing. Sweet yeast and tropical fruit aromas. Soft with bitter leaves and yeasty dough upfront turning to tropical fruit before the dry, lasting bitter finish.
