Description
Brash was founded in 2012 by Ben Fullelove, but laws at the time kept him from brewing within city limits. The Brash Brewing Company came to life when he finally decided to move to Ipswich, Massachusetts. The outdated legislation that prevented brewery owners from operating a bar were overturned the next year and in October of 2015, Brash Brewing Company opened its doors.

Smell of hops, orange peel. Dark amber colour, cream coloured head. Aroma of alcohol, hops, spruce. Slightly sour, bitter. Flat carbon. Very light taste considering alcohol level.

Bottle shared at small gathering at my place. Pours cloudy peach with white head. Nose and taste of apricot soaked peaches, apricot, caramel malt and very dank resin. Medium body. A bit of alcohol in the finish.

Sample from 650 ml bottle. Unclear amber-golden colour with a thin white head. Fruity aroma with rich caramel malts, citrus, grapefruit and toffee-cookies. Taste is bitter. Full body. Finishes bitter with fruits and a hint of alcohol. Nice DIPA.

Sample from 650 ml bottle. Unclear, golden-amber with a thin, off-white head. Fruity aroma with citrus, grapefruits, sweet, exotic fruits and caramel malts. Taste is sweet. Medium to full body, creamy texture. Bitter, dry finish with floral hops.

Sample from 650 ml bottle. Slightly hazy, deep golden colour with a thin, white head. Fruity aroma with citrus, pines, grapefruit, caramel malts - bitter, fresh. Taste is sweet. Medium to full body, creamy texture. Finishes dry and bitter. Very nice.

Bottle. Amber beer with a cream head. Grapefruit and light pine aroma with light caramel. Grapefruit and summer fruit flavor with sweet malt. Medium bodied. Good bitterness. Sweet malt and alcohol linger with grapefruit and pine.

Bottle. Blackish beer with a brown head. Chocolate and coffee aroma with rich malt. Coffee and chocolate flavor with caramel and malt. Medium-plus bodied. Coffee and caramel lingers with chocolate and malt.

Bottle thanks to a trade! Pours black with a yellowish brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a nice bitter roasted malts with a good amount of coffee and a nice supporting bourbon note. Flavor has a nice roasted malt and coffee combination with vanilla and bourbon in the finish.

Bottled. A hazy golden beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of citrusy hops and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, straw, and caramel, leading to a dry finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.
