Bottle. Pours with a pretty strong, dark hued body with a medium sized brown head. Good retention, nice lace. Head is not that menacing iodine color you get from some place like CCB or certain Mikkeller beers. Seems to be more Roasted malt than black barley. Still trying to ascertain the head color. This rant was not preconceived, but by the time I finished typing, there was some ring, and a light coating across the top as head retention. Aromas are of rich coffee, fudge, flinty minerality, and coffee. Coffee character is nice and strong. Brown sugar, nice ester, dark fruits, flan. Rich roasted malt coffee, and a nice bourbon character with vanillin, maple and light smoke. Flavors are rich, dark fruit, lightly muddled soil almost a vegital dms, chocolate, nutty and coffee. Super rich, pound cake, earthy coffee, vegital, medium roast, light bourbon but a lot of wood. Flavors feel a bit disjointed compared to the amazing aroma. Woody tannin. Biscottii and vanillin, yet something tastes a bit off. Thick body, minerals, coffee cream, medium carbonation. Warming. Interesting, as good as it sounds, but could be even better.

650ml bottle. Clear orangey golden colour with small to average, firm, frothy to creamy, half-way lasting, moderately lacing, white head. Slightly herbal hoppy aroma, some citrus, bitter orange, tangerine. Taste is initially moderately sweet caramel malty with hoppy overtones evolving from citrusy via herbal to really bitter, minimally soapy, medicinal; lasting bitter, astringent finish. Slightly overpowered.

Bottle at the John=Jim Den Haag tasting, Den Haag. Poured a cloudy medium amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is big hoppy and floral as you might expect. The flavour is strong bitter, hoppy, a little floral. An amazing IPA.

Bottle shared from Denk. Pours hazy orange with an off white head. Aroma of pine, grapefruit, resin, light orange peel, caramel. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter. Medium to full bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle. Pours black with tan brown head. Nose and taste of roasted chocolate malt, milk sugar, vanilla, dark walnut, cocoa, chalky dark malt and graham cracker. Medium body. Finishes with a touch of alcohol. Solid all around stout.

22 fl oz bottle. Pours pitch black with a small brown head. Aroma is solid coffee, dark roasted malt and light alcohol. Dense, almost oily thick coffee dark malty. Clear alcohol presence, bone dry and dark roasted. Too much.

Clear orange beer, some very small sediment floating around under a small creamy white head, little stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: fruity, mango, passion fruit, pineapples, other sweet exotic fruits. MF: ok carbon, full body. Taste: fruity start, some honey, exotic fruits, piny resinous, alcohol sweetness, grapefruit, very bitter. Aftertaste: fruity, mango, piny hops, dry, honey, alcohol, very nice beer, but way too much alcohol, that was unnecessary. "Will somebody please think of the livers?!"

22 fl oz bottle @ Mikkeller & Friends. Pours cloudy orange with a small white head. Solid grapefruity, peachy and pine hops. Alcohol boost to the hops. Bitter, grapefruity and pine hops. Vague sweetness, oily and pine hops. Medium dry and vague peachy into the far finish.
