Description
Mr Bees Brewery is based on the beautiful Suffolk Coast. Our beer is produced using only the finest ingredients, sourced locally. All the malted barley comes from Suffolk and we use only the finest quality English hops. We finish all our beers with honey from our own hives as this helps to enhance beer taste and aids conditioning. We produduce casks for trade and bottles for individual customers.

Bottle thanks to Grumbo: Poured a amber unclear with a frothy thin off white head. Aroma is light, malty, some earthiness, hops. Taste is bitter, light honey, malty.

Bottle thanks to Grumbo: Poured a amber with a thin tan head. Aroma is honey, toffee, sweet malts, light hops. Taste is bitter, honey, toffee, rich malts, some earthiness.

Bottle thanks to Grumbo: Poured a pitch black with a bubble tan ring around the rim. Aroma is dark chocolate, roasted malts. Taste is bitter dark chocolate, roasted malts, silky finish.

Bottle thanks to Grumbo: Poured a amber with some carbonated bubbles, the head was thin whispery. Aroma is light fruitiness. Taste is bitter, with some nice malts and balanced sweetness.

25/5/2019. Cask at the 14th Annual Beer Festival at the Trimley Sport & Social Club. Pours amber with a small off-white head. Aroma of malt, hops, toffee, biscuit and fruit. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Full flavoursome robust ale.

Aroma of heavy malt, hops, chocolate, and a touch of honey and aniseed. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Malty finish.

30/11/2018. Cask handpull at the Dove Winter Beer Festival, Ipswich. Pours very dark brown with a small off-white to beige head. Aroma of chocolate, roasted malt, coffee, hops, dark fruit and a hint of liquorice and nut. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Medium body, slight slick texture, soft carbonation. Dry, roasted finish. Quite traditional easy drinking stout. Decent brew.
