Pours murky dark gold into a willi. Bright white head with good retention recedes leaving spot lacing to coat rim. Sweet pineapple and mango aromas. Soft with dusty mango and melon upfront turning to tangerine peel and pith in the dry, lasting finish.

Canned 1/23/24, drunk 3/11/24. Clear, dark. Small, dark beige head, steadily fades to spotty cover/large ring. Excellent mix of base and dark malt here creating caramel, chocolate and gentle, fruity roast notes. Good strength and clarity of aroma, with a clean, alcohol-free finish. Doesn't seem too roasty. Soft, malty, rich and yet drying out nicely through roasted malts and baker's chocolate notes on the finish. This is clean, bright, lightly fruity and shows no acrid/harsh/stale or over-roasted character, while presenting a rich, honey-like base malt up front and drying out nicely on the finish. Rich, malty, clean and flavorful, especially relative to its tiny stature.

Brewery draught, 3/1/24. Heavily hazy, small, off-white head, moderate retention. Golden-brass-bronze. Juicy nose with a fair bit of pine accents, light spice, heavy ester from yeast (ebullient fruits) and a solid base malt backing of typical honey, cracker and biscuit-like character. Clean, not boozey, not resinous. Soft, juicy, thick but malty and attenuated with plentiful clementine, grapefruit, light pine, deep spice from cashmere and lingering yeast ester alongside fruity, juicy mango. Clean and well-executed. No booze or resin.

Tasting room draught, 3/1/24. Heavily hazy, bronze-maize-golden. Small, somewhat creamy, white head. Juicy with a fair bit of pine and spice. No onion! Good and estery with substantial malt character. Honey, biscuit and such. Lingering orange marmalade. Soft, juicy, malty, good attenuation with juicy citrus, estery yeast and a balancing pine and spice. Clean.

Pours murky mango into a shaker. Bright white head with excellent retention recedes leaving trailing sheets. Mango, passion fruit and berry aromas. Crisp with sweet melon, mango, lime and tangerine upfront turning to earthy, dried berry and citrus peel and pith in the medium length finish.

Brewery draught, 1/19/24. Heavily hazy, bright canteloupe-pineapple. Small, white head clings to edge. Melon, pineapple, spruce and cranberry with a heavily estery yeast and soft, honey-tinged malts. Clean, no resin. Soft, very juicy. Lots of red berry, pineapple rind and light melon. Malty, lightly sweet, moderate attenuation. Maybe a bit punchier and pineappley than I'd prefer, but well-made nonetheless.

16 oz can. Aroma is bold with peach, apricot and melon. Flavor follows with a lot of juice character. After the sip the texture turns dry. The hops and yeast combo punch you in the face with fruit. That said, still do like it.

Can pour from The Beer Store, Salem. It's a cloudy dark yellow-light brown with finger-width head with poor retention and trace lacing. Aroma is citrus, florals and bread. Taste is citrus, bitter mild pine and bread. Mouthfeel is smooth, frothy, average carbonation and crisp finish as taste with lingering mild bitterness. Not real distinct flavor but a decent pale ale and well made.
