Bottle, 0.375l. Aroma of red wine, wood, dark fruit and yeast. Pours cloudy dark brown color with thin quickly diminishing tan-like head, tiny yeast particles floating and average sparkling appearance. Taste starts tart vinous and fruity with toasted malty backbone, following is woody, grassy, a bit funky and slightly metallic with astringent mouthfeel. Medium to full body, slick texture and soft carbonation in palate. Pungent acidic ale…

bottled batch 10 11-8-16 tasted 2024 march 29 Opened perfectly, no foaming or spilling, total bottle control even after all these years, also not at all flat. super funky , complex, woody sour and tart aroma. also sweet wood and sweet sourness, way funky, age seems to have add all sorts of nuances. Flavor is seriously sour, citrus fruits, oranges, wood, mouth cleansing, seriously sour US sour style, mostly just sour and tart beer, there are some wood notes and some funky cellary notes too. Has aged very gracefully. It might possibly be quite a bit better now than it might have been 5 years ago.

bottle batch 004 10.3.16 so either march 10, 2016, or oct 3 2016 no best before date so tasting and rating it now, late march 2024 must be fine. pours a nice clear brown, with a slighly offwhite white head. aroma is ever so slightly buttery but mostly reminds me of an old dungeon port wine cellar, very pleasant, sweet dried fruity notes as well as some booze, which is impressive with only 4.6%, should I guess from the aroma alone I would guess quad at 9%. good job. Seems to have kept excellently all those years. It was also perfect on the open, good craftmanship. Flavor is extraordinarily sour with some sweet buttery and caramelly notes as well as some glue and some dark chocolate. far from where the aroma hinted, but a decent sour, although with several rather unorthodox flavor notes that might not have been intended from the start. apart from the butter there is also a bit of a rubbery note to the beer. Most of it is just dastardly sour (us-sour style) and all the extra flavor notes that do manage to keep it very interesting. I don't think it should be stored much longer than this, though.

Bottle shared at BrewDog BOD. It pours clear amber with a fluffy white head. The aroma is soft, sweet, perfumed, fragrant, vanilla, toasted coconut, angelica, peppery spice, vanilla, sandalwood and hay. The taste is crisp, firmly dry, splash of acidity, sour citrus, lemon peel, pomelo, citron, tannin, oak, peppery spice, sherbet, refreshers and a decent G&T with a drying finish. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. Fun stuff.

Murky amber beer, decent white head. Smells of a little light, tart fruit. Flavour has tart fruit, a bit of wood, a hint of vinegar, a little boozy with bittersweetness lingering into the finish. Sharp, tasty, very good.

Panda 🐼 at home thanks to Tipple. A murky amber gold coloured pour with a small greyish white head. Aroma is sour lacto, spicy lacto, woody grape, wallpaper paste, tangy. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, citric peel tangy, mouldy funk, grape, waxy. Palate is semi sweet, spicy highish carbonation. Not my thing.

Panda at home, thanks to Tips, 14/11/21. Hazed orange amber with a modest white cap. Nose is tarte fruits, wood must, lemon zest, herb, damp straw. Taste comprises sharp citric zest, green berry must, lychee, gin tones, wood must, herb, botanicals, lime leaf. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light puckering close. Decent stuff ... gin gets over and a fairly subtle way.

Draft @ Beergium Bar anniversary.
For the price asked, this is terrible - glad the bar did not charge us this one.
