On draft at the Albany Taproom. It pours a clear orange gold color with a white head. The aroma is bready with light grains, sweet pear and apple with a little baking spice. The flavor is snappy with a int of tartness and lots of pear, apple and grain husks. A little sweet with a hint of phenol and funk near the finish. Light to medium earthy bitterness. There’s a hint of something smoky, herbal, vegetal and acidic in there which leaves the beer feeling "unclean". Overall, just ok.

750 mL bottle poured at Matt’s. Thanks to Alberto for the bottle! Pours a pale orange, active carb, with a mobile fizz head. Tart indicator aroma with some tropical fruit. Flavor delivers on the sour and then some. Evolving tart fruit linger throughout. Slight funk to it, paired with a straw grain. Sour gentle apple finish. An interesting sour here. Very fun try.

Bottled at TNOD(U)RBSG2016. Hazy nut brown, small head Vinegary woody nose. Super sour with light body and clean hard mouthfeel. Concentrated vinegar dominates completely, some metal and wood. Unpleasant burning acetic finish. Lacks balance and body.

Sampled from bottle @ Danish Ratebeer Gathering 2016, Ulfborg, Day 2. Clear amber color, small off-white head that diminishes very quickly. Aroma is sourish, lightly malts, oak / wood, red wine. Taste is very sour, very tart, very dry. Not my thing at all. I can’t drink this, too sour for me to finish even a glass.

Säuerlich holziger, moderat holziger Antrunk, der schnell in den Hintergrund wandert. Die Säure ist dabei erfrischend, minimal bitter, fruchtig, gut. 11/11/11/11//11
