Growler thanks to Rainer. Pours a clear gold with medium frothy white head that lasts. The aroma is floral, grass, yeast. Medium mouth, spice, grass, bitter finish, good.

Bottle. A- Caramel, pine, subtle citrus, alcohol. A- Orange color, hazy liquid, white head. T- Caramel, malty, slightly bitter. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, malty finish. O- Having a fresh bottle I expected it to explode with juicy tropical hop flavors. Sadly, this seemed like a waste of perfectly amazing Lemondrop and especially Citra hops. Very little citrus imparts anywhere, nose or palate. It wasn’t a bad beer but considering the hop choice it was not executed well. Quite let down.

Bottle/Fest. A- Pine. A- Black color, dark liquid, tan head. T- Pine, bitter. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, boring finish. O- Not much flavor. Like any other ipa but a bit of burnt caramel to give it a slightly different flavor.

Bottle. A- Citrus, soft caramel, bread. A- Orange color, hazy liquid, off white head. T- Citrus, bitter, pine, caramel, bread. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, abrasive finish. O- Tons of floaties in the appearance which make me dislike it from the start. Even without a knock on the looks, the palate was not good. The nose didn’t translate over and it was very abrasive and hard to drink.

Draft. A- Chocolate, smores. A- Dark brown color, dark liquid, light brown head. T- Watery, chocolate, graham crackers. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, flat finish. O- I hate cask. This would’ve been good if it wasn’t on cask. Tasted almost like liquid s’mores, but very watery and lacked flavor while the nose was nice. Has tons of potential.

Draft. A- Oak, cherries, rose petals. A- Copper color, cloudy liquid, off white head. T- Cherries, oak, slight booze, caramel, flowers. P- Full body, average texture, average carbonation, balanced finish. O- The barrel aging does wonders for the regular version of this beer. Very nice and complex and the aging doesn’t over take it.

Draft. A- Oak, cherries, slightly sour, boozy, dark fruits, rose petals. A- Copper color, cloudy liquid, off white head. T- Boozy, cherries, oak, roses. P- Full body, average texture, average carbonation, boozy finish. O- Amazing the difference aging makes. This tastes nothing like the regular version and takes on a ton of the oaky and whisky taste. Completely different and masks the regular version to the point where you wouldn’t even know they were essentially the same beer.
