Shaker pint draft at The Bar in Mission, Kansas. The pour is a copper, amber, brown with a thin off white head. The aroma is nutty, caramel malt and a touch of herbal earth. The taste is the nutty, spice, toffee caramel and soft earth along with nutmeg to the back. The palate is medium to heavier bodied with soft carbonation and the earth nutmeg finish. Clean, tasty Alt that incorporated traditional Holiday Ale spicing.

Can.
A- Oak, cognac, raisin, brown sugar, boozy, chocolate.
A- Black color, dark liquid, beige head.
F- Booze, chocolate, brown sugar, oak, strong.
T- Full body, average texture, average carbonation, complex finish.
O- The first few sips are rather complex and really nice. Zipline always does good with these variants. As it warms, the alcohol heat becomes more present. If that would remain a bit more subdued throughout the pint this would really be top notch. Great.

Can.
A- Mild spice, faint pickle brine, weak.
A- Gold color, slightly hazy liquid, white head.
F- Spicy, mild pickle, grains.
T- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, lingering spicy finish.
O- Pickle Time was pretty good but this is less so. The heat overtakes almost all pickle flavor. Not that spicy but the spice just kills everything else. Okay. Gave me instant heartburn.
